We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work across both the Older People's Mental Health (OPMH) organic inpatient service and the functional mental health inpatient service, providing psychological assessment, formulation, and therapeutic interventions to older people and their carers in an inpatient setting.
Main Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and therapeutic interventions to older people and their carers in an inpatient setting.
- Be a source of advice to the multi-professional team on psychological issues.
- Offer consultation and advice to other mental health professionals.
- Supervise and support assistant psychologists, graduate psychologists, and trainee clinical psychologists on placement.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new psychological service to OPMH organic inpatients. The successful candidate will work closely with the multi-professional team to provide high-quality care to older people with mental health difficulties.
Requirements- DClinPsy or DCounsPsy qualification, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- HCPC Registration.
