About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and therapy to older adults in community, clinic, and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including neuropsychology, to identify and address mental health issues in older adults.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide advice and consultation on psychological issues.
- Supervise clinical psychology trainees and contribute to service development.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in clinical psychology to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Registration with the relevant registration body (e.g., HCPC).
- Experience working in the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
