Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Bupa - Care Homes. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement activity plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines.
- Organize and lead group activities, such as arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and pub quizzes.
- Provide one-to-one support for residents, including reminiscence therapy, puzzles, reading, and social interaction.
- Support the care home's social media presence by creating engaging content and promoting activities.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and occasional evenings.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and administrative tasks.
