Our Activity Coordinators are the chief fun officers of our care homes. They dream up exciting events and hobbies that residents will love, from arts and crafts to baking and book clubs.

They work closely with our residents and care teams to create tailored activity plans that cater to individual needs and interests. Whether it's gentle chair-based exercise or a garden party, they've got it covered.

As an Activity Coordinator, you'll help us make health happen by:

  • Running morning and afternoon activity sessions that bring residents together for laughter and camaraderie.
  • Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget.
  • Organising birthday surprises for our residents that make their special day truly unforgettable.
  • Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out and events at the home.
  • Organising one-to-one sessions with residents, using reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or just a cup of tea and a chat.
  • Supporting the home with their social media channels as required.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You're a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, who can also manage budgets and maintain paperwork effectively. You're interested in caring for others, sharing your sense of humour, and spreading your infectious enthusiasm for making people's lives better.
