About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Bupa - Care Homes. As the chief fun officer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering exciting events and activities that bring joy to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging activity plans that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers to organize days out and events at the home.
  • Provide one-to-one support to residents, including reminiscence activities, puzzles, reading, and socializing.
  • Support the home's social media channels and contribute to the creation of engaging content.

What You'll Need:

  • A creative and flexible approach to planning activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage budgets and maintain accurate records.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons.
