Research Grant Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Operations Team as a Research Grant Administrator. The successful candidate will have experience in administrative or project delivery environments, with a strong understanding of grant administration and/or working in health or research-related environments.

This role offers a mix of office and remote work, with a minimum of 12 days per quarter spent in the office. The Research Grant Administrator will work closely with colleagues to organize grant funding schemes, support monitoring and management of awards, and maintain electronic records.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Organize grant funding schemes and support monitoring and management of awards.
  2. Maintain accurate electronic records of competitions, applications, and awards.
  3. Support annual award data collection exercises to demonstrate the impact of research funding.
  4. Operate as a flexible resource within the Operations team, providing support to projects and performing data analysis.
  5. Occasionally travel to attend face-to-face committee meetings.

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • Education to a minimum of A Level standard.
  • Excellent administration and computing skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Able to gather information systematically and manage time effectively.
  • Able to act on initiative and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent team working and communication skills.
