Principal Hydrologist Opportunity in Perth

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Principal Hydrologist to join a dynamic team in Perth. As a specialist in hydrology, hydrogeology, EIA, and peat restoration, you will be responsible for managing a team and mentoring team members.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to work on varied Hydrological, Hydrogeological, EIA, and Peat Restoration Projects for Residential, Commercial, and Renewable Energy Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, Energy Companies, and Water Companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and manage EIA chapters and their supporting appendices, including GWDTE Assessments.
  • Conduct Private Water Supply Assessments.
  • Perform Watercourse Crossing Surveys.
  • Develop Peat Management Plans.
  • Assess Peat Hazard Landslide Risk.
  • Design Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
  • Carry out Drainage Impact Assessments.
  • Complete Hydrological Assessments.
  • Use Infodrainage for Drainage Modelling.
  • Conduct Water Quality Assessments.
  • Develop Pollution Prevention Plans.
  • Assess Peat for Windfarms.
