Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Principal Hydrologist to join a dynamic team in Perth. As a specialist in hydrology, ecology, and environmental management, you will be responsible for leading a team of experts in completing various hydrological, hydrogeological, EIA, and peat restoration projects for residential, commercial, and renewable energy clients.

• Produce and manage EIA chapters and supporting appendices, including GWDTE assessments.
• Conduct private water supply assessments, watercourse crossing surveys, and peat management plans.
• Develop peat hazard landslide risk assessments, surface water management plans, and flood risk assessments for planning applications.
• Lead drainage impact assessments, hydrological assessments, and drainage modeling using Infodrainage.
• Conduct water quality assessments, pollution prevention plans, and peat assessments and surveys for windfarms.
• Manage and mentor a team of hydrologists and environmental specialists.

• Vast technical experience in hydrology, hydrogeology, EIA, and peat restoration.
• Chartered status or close to achieving it.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
