Senior Hydrologist

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Principal Hydrologist to join a dynamic team in Perth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology, hydrogeology, and environmental management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.

• Lead and manage a team of hydrologists and hydrogeologists to deliver a range of projects, including hydrological assessments, watercourse crossing surveys, and peat management plans.
• Develop and implement technical work programs, including EIA chapters, private water supply assessments, and drainage impact assessments.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage and mentor junior team members to ensure their professional development and growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.

• Chartered status or close to achieving chartered status.
• Strong technical expertise in hydrology, hydrogeology, and environmental management.
• Proven experience in managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
