Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Pertemps Bond. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance employees and contractors to ensure the site operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage front-line maintenance contractor safety and risk assessment
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping in workshop and warehouses
  • Complete regular safety conversations and toolbox talks with direct reports
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and provide holiday/sickness/absence cover
  • Support and develop maintenance team members
  • Coordinate suppliers and maintain warehouses and booking in/out of parts
  • Perform hands-on mechanical maintenance if required
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety legislation
  • ICT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a small to medium team
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage staff
