Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance employees and contractors to ensure the site operates safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front-line maintenance contractor safety and conduct risk assessments of maintenance jobs
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping in workshop and warehouses, and complete regular safety conversations with team members
  • Perform toolbox talks with direct reports and promote a Zero Harm workplace attitude
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and provide holiday/sickness/absence cover as needed
  • Complete performance reviews for direct reports and support their development
Maintenance
  • Create and administer the weekly maintenance plan, including mechanical and electrical tasks
  • Maintain warehouses and manage the booking in/out of parts
  • Coordinate suppliers and ensure availability of critical spares
  • Perform hands-on mechanical maintenance as required and comply with company policies
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and ICT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a small to medium team and ability to work as part of a team
