Job Title: Bank Operations Assistant

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

Covanburn Contracts is a leading company in the business and construction field, seeking an ambitious individual to fill the role of Bank Operations Assistant. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to develop into a well-experienced, multi-skilled member of any workforce.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Office Manager, including maintaining a high standard of administration, preparing and organising project files, and supporting other members of staff when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties: meeting and greeting clients, answering calls, communicating daily with employees and clients, supporting the Office Manager with the smooth daily running of the organisation.
  • Administration duties: assisting the Office Manager with maintaining a high standard of administration, including preparing and organising project files, timesheets, and supporting other members of staff when required.
  • HR: supporting the HR function with the daily running of HR admin duties, including upkeeping training records, preparing and filing documents for new starts and leavers, and maintaining holiday and absence records on the HR portal.
  • Project Operations: working with specialist areas such as the Commercial team, Procurement, Site Operatives, Project Managers, and Engineers to learn processes and procedures, assisting the General Manager in improving processes to advance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Health Safety Environmental and Quality (HSEQ): assisting in the administration of records and paperwork, organisation of training and certificates, ensuring health and safety meets legal requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic administrator experience, with a desire to be multi-skilled and multi-talented.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to situations, being proactive in organising and managing time to complete tasks efficiently while balancing training and other duties.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
