Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, scheduled to last until July 2024, where you will be working on a small group basis in a mainstream primary school supporting pupils with ASC. As a member of our team, you will be expected to motivate, encourage, and monitor pupils as they progress with their work set by the class teacher.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting those with SEN, including ASC, SEMH, MLD, and Behavioural difficulties. A drive to help others and enjoy progress is essential for this role.

You will also be responsible for general classroom activities throughout the day and overall participation in activities. Effective communication with parents is crucial, so it's vital that applicants can provide constructive and relevant feedback.

Requirements
  • Experience working within a school environment supporting KS1/KS2 pupils
  • Teaching Assistant Experience – Primary/Secondary
  • Safeguarding Training

What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
