Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Advanced Paramedic Practitioner to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will have a passion for high-quality, patient-led care and a desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Main Responsibilities
The Advanced Paramedic Practitioner will be responsible for providing a high-quality, cost-effective service to our patients, focusing on frail and older people, and those with low-level mental health concerns. This will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide face-to-face and telephone consultations with patients presenting with a wide range of minor illnesses, urgent, and same-day requests for treatment and chronic disease management.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills. They will also need to prioritize and triage the needs of patients accordingly, making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner.
Key Requirements
- Experience of working with frail and older patients
- Two+ years proven record of working as an Advanced Practitioner dealing with patients presenting with a wide range of medical issues
- Experience of providing specialized advice in relation to care
- Experience of dealing with patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions
