As we feed one-in-three people in Ireland through our market leading food and beverage brands, we invite applications for the position of 3 Days Week Supervisor at SuperValu Downpatrick.

This part time role offers an 8 hour permanent contract with flexible working hours, including days, evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be able to travel to the store via car, public transport or other to fulfill shift requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead colleagues to adhere to company policies and practices, including Health & Safety and Environmental Health Standards.
  • Support stock take preparation and counting, as well as implementing action plans to improve stock take results.
  • Conduct occasional people management tasks, such as return to work interviews and colleague investigations, while ensuring compliance with company employment policies.
  • Support local community and charity partners.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's experience in a busy retail sales-based environment and/or similar role. GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent), and/or further education in a related discipline are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, are also essential.
