Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our dynamic EWMHS (Early Warning and Multi-Health Service) team in Redbridge on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality and effective psychological interventions to children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems, as well as their carers and families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and adolescents, as well as their carers and families.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including medical staff, social workers, and education professionals, to provide a comprehensive service.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to mental health services for children and adolescents.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and peer review to ensure high-quality practice.
- Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, BACP, UKCP, AFT, ACP).
- Postgraduate qualification in psychological practice (art psychotherapist, psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist).
- Extensive experience of working with children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
- Experience of working therapeutically with carers and families of children and adolescents with complex mental health problems.
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to children and adolescents and safeguarding procedures and policies.
