We are seeking a skilled and reliable plasterer to contribute to the upkeep and improvement of our housing properties. The ideal candidate will have experience working in social housing properties and possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and physical fitness.

Responsibilities:

Conduct plastering and drywall repairs and installations in social housing units.
Perform multi-trade tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
Collaborate with a diverse maintenance team to address various property maintenance needs.
Inspect and assess housing units for maintenance requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification or training in plastering or a related field.
Proven experience in plastering and general maintenance, preferably in a social housing or property management setting.
Ability to perform multi-trade tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in plastering.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials.
