About the Role:
We have exciting opportunities available at The Crescent Day Service, which caters to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
At The Crescent Day Services, we offer Postural Management and a variety of engaging activities, collaborating closely with our caregivers, health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
We are in search of highly motivated individuals who can assist participants in engaging in meaningful activities that lead to positive outcomes.
Ideal candidates will be compassionate, possess effective communication skills, and be driven to ensure a high standard of care and support is delivered.
You will be expected to work as a co-keyworker for a small group of service users.
Proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and IT skills is essential for fulfilling your responsibilities.
Your role will involve supporting personal care needs while promoting individuals' independence, choice, dignity, health, and overall wellbeing.
Candidates should have experience in a day service or social care environment or demonstrate a solid understanding of achieving the best outcomes for individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities or dementia.
With a proactive attitude, you will play a crucial role in the development and promotion of the Day Services.
Teamwork is essential, and you will promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within your role. You should be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently as required.
Regular supervision and access to ongoing training and development will be provided to support your career growth in Adult Social Care.
