Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Pioneer Selection. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of site operations, working across mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all machinery is maintained and serviced to retailer-standard engineering practices, prioritising food and operator safety.
  • Schedule and perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections to the highest standard, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and clean, hygienic handovers to production.
  • Operate and maintain essential service plant equipment, including boilers, chilled water systems, air compressors, and effluent treatment facilities.
  • Collaborate on machine design upgrades, installations, and relocations, playing a key role in efficiency improvements.
  • Engage in loss reduction and productivity enhancement initiatives alongside production operators.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Bias
  • Previous experience of working in high speed manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and efficiency.

What We Offer:

The salary range for this position is £43,000 - £46,000 per annum, plus benefits package. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively and respond to the demands of a fast-paced production setting.
