Job Overview

Edwards & Pearce Limited, a leading player in the fresh produce production facility industry, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their fast-paced team based in Thorne. As a skilled Multiskilled Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering repair, corrective and planned preventative maintenance across the site.

The Role:

  • Maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Performing tasks such as diagnostic testing, repairs, and replacements, with minimal downtime.
  • Managing workloads effectively, prioritizing tasks to minimize machine downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards and Food Safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across all engineering areas.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess City and Guilds or B Tech qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Teamwork and adaptability are crucial for this role.
  • Proficiency in IT skills is necessary for effective job execution.

Salary Details:

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
