Administrative Support Professional

At Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking an Administrative Support Professional to join our team in Wareham. As an Administrative Support Professional, you will provide administrative support to our Community Teams, focusing on patient dedicated administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Community Teams, including dealing with telephone enquiries, relatives, carers, GPs, and other agencies.
- Access team diaries, plan and organise activities and events, including meetings and multi-disciplinary meetings with internal and external organisations as requested.
- E nsure letters, memorandums, and reports are of high quality and adhere to Trust Policy and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate information on patient records systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
Requirements:
- Proficient in a range of software programmes, including Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience of minute taking, transcribing minutes, advanced typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to cope under pressure.
- Confident on the phone, with the ability to communicate with a range of different healthcare professionals, patients, their relatives, and carers.
What We Offer:
- A full/part-time post up to 37 hours per week.
- Flexible working around shift patterns, including Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00, and 09:00 – 17:00.
