Job Title: Surgical Care Specialist

Location: Bristol

Hours: 40 Hours per week

Salary: Competitive

About the Role:

We are in search of a committed Surgical Care Specialist to enhance our surgical team in Bristol. In this role at Optical Express, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing laser vision correction and intraocular lens procedures. Your duties will encompass scrubbing in for surgical operations, assisting with anaesthesia, performing pre-operative evaluations, and delivering post-operative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laser Vision Correction – Scrub
  • Intraocular Lens (Cataract) – Scrub
  • Anaesthetic assistant
  • Pre-operative assessments
  • Conduct pre-screening diagnostic duties
  • Discharge patients with after-care guidance and medications
  • Medicines management

Requirements:

Ideal candidates must hold NMC or HCPC registration and possess prior experience in theatre or scrub environments.
