Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Line Up Aviation. As a Welder, you will be responsible for safely performing welding and related tasks within a production setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out welding tasks in accordance with essential variables and complete visual inspection of finished welds to contract acceptance standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain welding plant functionality and carry out daily machine checks, ensuring that any fault is reported immediately.
  • Safely set up and remove any pre-heating equipment.
  • Use of digital and thermal temperature recording devices.
  • Perform set up procedures for all welding equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
Requirements
  • Indentured Welder
  • An understanding of weld defects and causes
  • Experience with one or more of the following Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), MIG or TIG
Working Conditions

You will be welding various components of the T31 Frigates predominately in vertical and overhead positions. You will have to successfully pass a Welder test regime as part of the recruitment process.
