About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Training Facilitator to join our team at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. As a key member of the ward team, you will be responsible for promoting and delivering clinical skills training practices that meet the needs of our patients and staff.

Main Duties
  1. To develop and deliver teaching packages to all staff within the ward, covering topics such as paediatric clinical skills and patient care.
  2. To support staff in achieving competence in clinical areas and help develop the workforce.
  3. To work in conjunction with the Ward Sister and Practice Education Team to identify and implement clinical skills and development opportunities.
Person Specification
  • A Registered Children's Nurse with a Degree qualification.
  • Previous teaching experience and evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Evidence of analytical and judgement skills, including creativity and innovation.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 per year, based on the requirements of this role.
