Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Paediatric Musculoskeletal Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our team at the Transformation Unit.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to work as part of our specialist team, providing high-quality care to children with musculoskeletal conditions. As a Paediatric Musculoskeletal Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines within your speciality area.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of physiotherapy services within the specialist team, holding responsibility for defined projects.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the provision of paediatric physiotherapy services, ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines and frameworks.
  • Provide clinical and professional leadership to physiotherapy colleagues in the speciality area.
  • Work alongside the Therapy Speciality Lead / Therapy Clinical Team Leader to develop links between the specialist therapy team and relevant CMGs within UHL.
  • Ensure the training and development of staff within the Therapy speciality team.
