Right Now Recruitment is seeking an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As an Export Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a full start-to-finish documentation of exports, monitoring and managing multiple shared mailboxes, and ensuring compliance with HMRC regarding customs entries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the export process from start to finish, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and prepared for secure cargo and handover to transport.
- Monitor and manage multiple shared mailboxes to ensure timely and accurate communication with airlines and handling agents.
- Collaborate with airlines and handling agents to arrange bookings of shipments and ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Complete costing and invoicing of operational finance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Provide pre-alerts to customers and network, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Ensure all documents are completed and prepared for customs entries, adhering to HMRC regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience working within freight forwarding.
- Proven knowledge of the air industry and customer requirements.
- Ability to make good decisions that align with company standards.
- Customs knowledge and experience with HMRC regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs.
