Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Airfreight Operator to join our team in London Heathrow. As an Airfreight Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of airfreight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate airfreight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
• Prepare and submit customs clearance entries, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Monitor and audit files to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with account start-up, including liaison with sales to ensure required documentation is provided.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in airfreight operations and customer service.
• Proven track record of coordinating airfreight shipments and ensuring timely delivery.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
