About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Engineer to join our team in Luton, UK.

As an Airworthiness Engineer at TUI, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft, conducting reviews and surveys, and managing allocated aircraft to ensure compliance with Part M Subpart I. You will also assist with the new delivery of aircraft, transfer of aircraft within the TUI Group, and End of Lease as required.

In addition, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining procedures, means and methods ensuring compliance with the CAME and Part M/CAMO requirements. You will actively control and endorse the standards of continuing airworthiness management tasks consistent with Part M/CAMO.

You will work closely with the team to ensure legislation changes pertaining to continuing airworthiness are reviewed and changes implemented. You will also ensure that the aircraft remain compliant with any new Airworthiness Directives/Mandatory Requirements.

About You:

  • You will hold or have previously held a SRG 1769 (or equivalent) for full Airworthiness Review approval (ARC Signatory) meeting the required criteria of Part CAMO, CAMO.A.310.
  • You will have good knowledge of Part M/CAMO, Part 145, Part 147 & Part 21, maintaining currency in the industry through journals, publications, etc.
  • You will have good IT skills and working knowledge of TUI Airways' operating system (AMOS).
  • You will be able to plan and organize in a methodical and analytical manner.
  • You will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You will be able to facilitate meetings and achieve results.
  • You will have broad knowledge and understanding of various techniques to manage process change and quality improvement.
  • You will have excellent oral, written, and presentation skills in English.
  • You will have financial awareness.
