About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Home Manager - Senior Role to join our team at Kenwood Recruitment Solutions Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced residential care manager to take on a leadership role in our Children's Homes in London and Greater London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care Services Leadership: Provide strategic oversight, operational management, and hands-on care required to ensure the highest level of care and regulatory compliance within a residential setting.
  • Team Management: Manage daily operations, including staff recruitment, supervision, and appraisals, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Maintain registration standards as per Childrens Home Regulations and Care Standards 2015, and ensure adherence to statutory requirements, local authority guidelines, and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-year managerial experience in a residential home at deputy level or above.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care Management (e.g., NVQs/QCFs).
  • Skillset: Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures, and best practice in caring for looked after children.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is £55,000-£70,000 per annum, plus a bonus scheme. Progression within these salary scales is contingent upon experience, qualifications, and ongoing professional development.
