About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Bobbins in Wiltshire (Swindon). As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning or physical disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish and implement care plans, ensuring a safe and stable environment.
  • Administer medication (if required) and provide personal care, using trained techniques and aids.
  • Support service users with physical disabilities, utilizing hoists, wheelchairs, and modified bathing equipment.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational, time management, planning, and communication skills.
  • Flexible and professional approach to multi-site working.
  • Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
  • Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations.
