We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coach (Support Worker) to join our team at Swindon Foyer. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred, strengths-based support to our residents, helping them to achieve their goals and become as independent as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of customers through their journey, enabling them to articulate their aspirations and realise their potential.
  • Manage referrals into the service, undertake interviews and assessments, and notify potential customers of the outcomes of these activities.
  • Induct new customers into the service and deliver quality, outcome-focused support sessions in both one-to-one and group settings.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with specialist agencies, such as mental health teams and youth offending services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working with young people in a similar role, with knowledge of homelessness and its impact on young people.
  • Working knowledge of housing and benefits advice.
  • Experience of partnership working with specialist agencies.
  • Natural relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, and inspire others.
