We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in Swindon. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and mentoring to Children and Young People who display challenging and complex behavior.
You will be involved in various activities, including camping, football, ice skating, gym, and community groups and events. Developing positive relationships with the individuals you support will be a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete weekly key work sessions.
- Organize and participate in activities for the residents.
- Domestic duties, including laundry and cooking.
- Personal care and transportation to appointments and activities.
- Support Young People in accordance with their individual Support Plan.
- Safeguard all Young People to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Administer medication and manage personal finances.
- Support residents with completing homework and liaise with staff from other departments.
- Report any issues or incidents that arise during the day.
This is an energetic and rewarding role that will develop your skills as a Support Worker and provide genuine opportunities for career development.
