About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring support worker to join our team working on the Scottish Islands.

The role involves providing care and support to individuals with varying needs, including learning disabilities, elderly, dementia, physical disabilities, and challenging behavior. You will be responsible for assisting service users with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, moving and handling, household chores, and general domiciliary care.

The successful candidate will promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing of service users while building strong relationships with them. The role also offers opportunities to work in various settings, including care homes, community care, and care at home.

In addition to providing excellent care, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish islands during your days off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to service users
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores
  • Building strong relationships with service users and their families
  • Working effectively in a team to ensure the best level of care is provided
  • Staying calm under pressure and managing challenging situations

We offer a competitive salary range of £20,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus access to free eLearning and training, weekly pay, SSSC endorsement, PVG updates, and free accommodation while on the island.
