We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our team at 2 Sisters Food Group in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in IT.

About the Role

  • This entry-level role involves providing first-line support, managing a ticketing system, and identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all technical problems are resolved efficiently and effectively.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong interpersonal skills, a drive to learn and grow, and a keen problem-solving ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line support to employees via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Managing a ticketing system to track and resolve technical issues.
  • Identifying and diagnosing technical problems using your analytical skills.
  • Resolving technical issues independently or escalating to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Collecting and analyzing information to solve problems and improve processes.

Requirements

  • A strong desire to learn and develop your IT skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and software applications.
