About Us

Smile Education is committed to providing high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEND).

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to join our primary school team in Oldbury.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with SEND, working closely with the school's SEND team, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

  • Providing tailored support to students with SEND, adapting their approach to meet individual learning requirements
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers to implement individualized learning plans and strategies
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students in developing social skills, self-confidence, and independence
  • Fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes every child's potential
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEND students
  • A strong understanding of SEND needs and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students' well-being and growth
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required or willingness to undergo one
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
