Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our gym, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, including supervising staff and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive commercial performance, including sales and marketing initiatives.
- Lead and deliver operational excellence, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Deliver set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the overall success of the business.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry, preferably in a gym or fitness environment.
- Passionate about customer service and able to inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results.
- Qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor, with a strong understanding of fitness and wellness principles.
- Experience in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity, with a proven track record of success.
- Ideal candidate will have experience as an Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager, with a strong understanding of operational functions and business development.
