Duty Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, including supervising staff and ensuring seamless operations.
- Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, providing leadership and direction to the team.
- Drive commercial performance by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing budgets, and analyzing sales data.
- Deliver operational excellence by maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success.
- Proven experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry, ideally with a background in fitness or customer service.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Qualifications in a relevant field, such as Level 2 Gym Instructor or equivalent.
