Tewv Brits is a forward-thinking mental health hospital providing holistic and patient-centred care to working age adults and older persons. As a Staff Nurse on our Danby Ward, you will be part of a dynamic team striving towards excellent patient care.
About the RoleThis role provides an exciting opportunity for you to develop your skills and expertise in mental health care. You will be involved in formulation to discharge planning for patients on the ward as part of our multi-disciplinary team.
We will support you by offering regular supervision, training opportunities, and encouraging your development and role within this developing team. Newly qualified nurses will be offered a preceptorship package.
Job Responsibilities- Work shifts covering 24/7 days and nights, including public holidays
- Provide person-centred therapeutic care to patients on the ward
- Collaborate with service users and their families/carers to achieve positive outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current professional registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council RNMH or RNLD
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Trained Clinical Supervisor (within 6-month probationary period)
The estimated salary for this role is £29,970 to £36,483 per annum pro rata. We offer a supportive work environment, regular training opportunities, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
