Job Description:

As a Scientific Researcher in the Parkinson lab, you will play a key role in advancing our understanding of NF2-null nervous system tumours. This involves working on innovative research projects, utilizing various laboratory techniques, and analysing complex data sets.

You will have a strong background in laboratory research, with experience in animal studies and/or UK Home Office PIL A/B + C (rodents). Your expertise in bioinformatics and first-author publications will also be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory research using various techniques
  • Develop and execute wet-lab techniques for patient-derived xenograft drug screening and validation
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals

Benefits and Salary:

We offer a competitive salary package (£38,772 - £48,045 per annum), a generous pension scheme, and holiday entitlement. Staff appointed within the Faculty of Health may also be eligible to join the NHS pension scheme.
