Role Overview

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is seeking a skilled professional to join its Authorisations Division within the Banking, Insurance, and Early & High Growth Oversight Department.

This exciting opportunity focuses on supporting the development and implementation of strategies for early and high-growth oversight supervision and banking and insurance authorisations.

As a Technical Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential harm and opportunities to foster innovation in the UK financial services market.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing data-driven strategies to support early and high growth oversight supervision and banking and insurance authorisations.

  • Harnessing data to monitor emerging trends and innovations in the banking and insurance sectors.

  • Providing expert technical leadership on banking and insurance authorisation cases, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering collaboration among teams.

  • Contributing to the development of the FCA's data strategy and influencing policy decisions within the Authorisations division.

You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote understanding and support innovation in financial services.
