**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Family Support Specialist to join our team at Westminster Council. As a key member of our Assessment Team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable families and promoting the well-being of children.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Manage a caseload of 8-12 families, conducting thorough risk assessments and interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  2. Attend Child Protection conferences, CIN meetings, and work closely with children and families to build trust and foster positive relationships.

**Requirements:**

  1. Degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  2. Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services Social Work.
  3. Proven expertise in child protection, court work, and working with Children in Need.
  4. Strong understanding of child protection laws, practices, and frameworks.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
  6. A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

**Estimated Salary Range:** £37 per hour, dependent on experience.
