Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their expertise to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects, providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members, and promoting a culture of excellence within the pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate pharmacy services, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on clinical and operational matters.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties

In addition to the key responsibilities outlined above, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  • Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • BTEC/NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician and Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate.
  • Significant post-registration hospital pharmacy experience at a senior level.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
