Senior Clinical Pharmacy Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join our Transformation Unit team in Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals. As a key member of our pharmacy services, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our patient care and ensuring the accuracy of medication reconciliation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centred care on the wards, bridging connections with community healthcare partners, and promoting one-stop dispensing. You will also participate in late duty, Bank Holiday, and weekend rotas as part of a seven-day service.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake medicines reconciliation and take drug histories to ensure accurate medication administration.
- Promote one-stop dispensing and manage TTOs prior to discharge.
- Communicate effectively with community colleagues and contribute to the management of medicines on the ward.
Requirements
- Registered technician with General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Accreditation in Medicines Management (AIMM).
- Patient counselling experience, multidisciplinary teamwork, and medicines management/clinical experience.
