At Microsoft, we are at the forefront of cloud innovation and are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Acquisition Strategist to support our mission.

This role will be based in the UK or Ireland and report directly to the EMEA Regional Director. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining consistency across acquisition processes and coordinating life cycle and closing processes for the EMEA region.

As a key member of our Land Acquisition team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering strategies to improve and expand our data center infrastructure in various EMEA markets. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other internal teams such as operations, legal, finance, treasury, tax, and risk assessment to deliver highly successful projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing transaction deal flow, ensuring all relevant data and associated documents are tracked and kept up-to-date;
  • Supporting real estate transaction processing and administration for fast-growing and evolving business needs;
  • Defining and tracking success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., OKRs and KPIs) for the program;
  • Assisting in implementing a relevant system of metrics to plan, manage, measure, and evaluate performance pertaining to the transaction process;
  • Effectively communicating expectations, requirements, and status of deals to key stakeholders and business partners – both internally and externally;
  • Helping coordinate various internal initiatives and projects;
  • Building and maintaining a culture of speed, flexibility, and trust with all business partners.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will bring a strong understanding of business operations and project management principles. A bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or finance, or an equivalent alternative education, is required.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including industry-leading healthcare, educational resources, discounts on products and services, savings and investments, maternity and paternity leave, and generous time away.
