We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team at Sweco UK. As a key member of our Safety, Health, Environment, and Assurance (SHEA) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Strategies: Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement safety strategies that align with our company's safety vision and goals.
- Conduct Site Inspections and Assurance Visits: Conduct regular site inspections and assurance visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Deliver Training and Awareness Programs: Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to increase employee knowledge and skills in safety and wellbeing.
- Monitor and Analyze Safety Performance: Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to promote a safety-driven culture and ensure effective communication.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate: Hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and a Technical grade (or above) membership of IOSH.
- CSCS Safety Professional Card: Possess a CSCS Safety Professional card and a full clean UK driving licence.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to gain the trust and respect of colleagues at all levels of the organization.
