Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

Type of Business: Public Sector Organization

Location: Remote with occasional on-site visits

Annual Salary: £26,846 - £32,810 depending on experience

Hours: 30 hours per week, term time plus 4 weeks (42 weeks)

Job Summary:

Gi Group is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to deliver HR services to our public sector clients. The successful candidate will provide HR support, investigate employment matters, and develop HR policies and procedures.

Main Duties:

  • Provide HR support to clients, including employee relations casework, investigations, and written reports
  • Act as an investigating officer on various employment matters and provide written reports
  • Attend formal meetings and develop HR policies and procedures
  • Design and deliver training sessions on HR topics

Requirements:

  • Evidenced experience of advising on HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, redundancy, and TUPE
  • Evidenced experience of managing complex employee relations cases
  • Experience of providing advice on employment law, including the Green Book, Burgundy Book, and School Staffing Regulations
  • Experience of delivering training sessions relevant to employment
  • Experience of working within a unionized environment and involvement in union consultations
  • Fully CIPD qualified or equivalent experience and evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Ability to travel to customer locations within and outside the region
