Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Manager to lead our Vent-Speciality Unit at Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and direction to the clinical team of assigned vent unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement effective care plans, making rounds as necessary to ensure seamless communication.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
- Review care plans daily to confirm that appropriate care is being rendered, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Monitor residents' conditions and report accordingly, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments to care plans.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state, with a strong commitment to patient safety and well-being.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, with a focus on leadership and management principles.
- Experience as a supervisor in a specialized unit, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
