Job Title: Social Care Assistant - Adults

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Assistant to join our Reablement team at CV-Library. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in carrying out Care Act assessments, equipment provision, and rehabilitation for adults.

About the Role:
  • Fully qualified (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in statutory social care, preferably within Kinship & Fostering.
  • Strong skills in assessment and supervision of carers are essential, with the ability to provide analytical comprehensive reports for court within timescales.
Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000, based on industry standards and location.

Requirements:
  • A levels or an NVQ Level II in Care or related subject would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrable relevant paid or voluntary experience of working with older people, adults with disabilities, and carers.
  • Experience of dealing with members of the public in the context of Health or Social Care.
Key Skills:
  • An understanding of the needs of older people, people with disabilities, and/or those with mental health issues.
  • Ability to work in a community setting, respecting the privacy of people's homes.
  • Ability to travel around the borough including visiting council offices and clients' homes.
