Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to children and young people in a residential setting.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering person-centered care.

The salary for this position is £26,500 - £29,925 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to children with various needs, including personal care, domestic tasks, and transportation. You will also assist with homework, manage medication, and attend health appointments.

You will work closely with the team to update care plans, complete risk assessments, and ensure thorough handovers to maintain consistency in their care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to children with varying needs
  • Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Transport children to school and attend health appointments
  • Manage medication and assist with homework
  • Work collaboratively with the team to update care plans and complete risk assessments
