This includes managing the health of our mechanical and electrical systems, performing building maintenance, and coordinating projects that affect the operational data center.
About ProcurementThe Procurement Team at Vantage Data Centers is responsible for sourcing and managing the procurement of goods and services for our company. We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our team and support our operations procurement strategy.
Job OverviewThe Senior Manager Operations Procurement will be responsible for developing and executing a procurement strategy that supports the success of our operations. This will include working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and developing effective procurement strategies to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a procurement strategy that supports the success of our operations
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective procurement strategies
- Manage the procurement process from strategy to contract award and ongoing supplier management
- Identify and deliver cost savings opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on procurement performance
- Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant supply chain experience in data center or complex infrastructure construction
- Experience with developing and executing an operations procurement strategy across multiple regions
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent stakeholder management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement, commercial, and negotiating techniques
- Strong knowledge of local markets and established network
